Vision and Values

The vision of the company is to provide in-depth quantitative research and modelling to improve the circumstances and operation of the economy, focused primarily on South Africa, but undertaking generalised economic research as well. It seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and the needs in the economy, through bringing together theoretical and more practical specialists to address economic research projects in an efficiently combined manner.

The company holds values of objectivity, independence, and professional integrity, as well as striving to operate in a transparent and fair manner to clients, staff and researchers. It places these values ahead of commercial interests.

The company is led by Executive Director, Dr Michael K C Jackson, who has a doctorate in monetary economics, as well as being a graduate electrical engineer, MBA and CMA. He has extensive experience in quantitative economic consulting, research and econometric modelling, as well as in wider management consulting and economic development.
